Mindfulness of Nature

New adventures ahead…

Dear friends,

I just wanted to share that after 18 months of valuable reflection and transition time, a new opportunity has found its way to me to learn new skills, challenge myself and develop my contribution to supporting a happier, more peaceful and sustainable world in a new context.

I’ve been offered a Trainee Psychological Well Being Practitioner position within the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) which starts in March 2020 within the Psychological Well Being Service in Cambridge.

Joining the NHS at this time feels like a huge priviledge because, with all its challenges, the NHS remains one of the most valuable (and threatened) institutions in the UK. Moreover, it’s incredibly inspiring to see the beginnings of increased investment in primary care services dedicated to well-being and mental health. This new position will be a chance for me to provide some support to the many who don’t have the agency to benefit from other, private well-being support initiatives (including my own).

This means that I’ll be leading fewer Mindfulness of Nature events – at least during this training year. However, I believe that my new experiences in this position will enrich my Mindfulness of Nature work and I’ll continue to write, reflect and lead workshops and retreats whenever I can ๐Ÿ™‚

With this in mind, you can find an updated list of 2020 Cambridge events here and UK events here. I won’t be leading any retreats abroad this year (but the retreat I lead at MoaAlm in the Austrian Alps will take place again in 2021 – and you can register your interest here).

Other local events will be scheduled in Cambridge in the spring and summer in due course, and I’m still be offering One-to-One’s.

If you have any questions, please drop me an e-mail or comment below.

Thank you for your continued support and interest in this work which feels increasingly vital to me in these pressured, uncertain times,

I look forward to seeing you in 2020!

Take care,

Claire x
