‘Nurturing new beginnings: How to create and accept meaningful change in our lives?’
Small group 6 week online course – held on Zoom
Wednesday evenings 7.30- 9 pm UK time (6th, 13th, 20th, 27th March, 3rd, 10th April 2024).

This 6 week online course will involve a weekly combination of teaching, group discussion, reflection prompts, mindfulness practices, nature-based exercises, poetry and opportunities to share your personal journey with others in a gentle, fun, supportive and pressure-free online space. Creating change in our lives is so much easier if we have the support of others to share with. In these small group courses, I strive to ensure each person feels equally seen and supported throughout the course in their own personal journey – whilst ensuring the group experience is inclusive, safe and fun!
Provisional course outline:
Week 1: Welcome & What can we learn from nature about creating and accepting change?
Week 2: New beginnings: what do we need to change in our lives? And how do we know? Are we accepting change or creating change?
Week 3: The challenge of letting go the old ways
Week 4: Creating the right conditions for creating and accepting change for ourselves
Week 5: Trusting a natural process and finding community
Week 6: Maintaining our commitment and moving on
This course is for you if:
- You’re good at initiating change but struggle to remain committed long-term
- You’d like to support in creating sustainable, meaningful changes in your life (however big or small – and whatever area of your life these changes may concern)
- You feel dissatisfied in your day-to-day life but aren’t sure what changes you need to create
- You’re feeling alone as you make your changes and would like the support of others
- You want to explore what’s meaningful to you and find ways to create changes to commit to it
- You’d like to learn more about what Nature teaches us about the best conditions for change, newness, fresh starts and growth
- You’re keen to align with the arrival of spring to nurture new beginnings and growth in your own life
- You’d like reflective support and inspiration as we transition into springtime
No previous experience or knowledge is required. It doesn’t matter where you’re at in your life and reflection – all welcome!
